Recent news on Pathological Diagnosis

Immunoglobulin G4-related disease is a systemic disease that can  virtually involve  any organs including the biliary tract and liver. In biliary tract involvement of IgG4-RD is known as IgG4-sclerosing cholangitis (IgG4-SC) and may or may not present with an inflammatory pseudo tumor. Acute hepatitis and acute liver failure are severe medical conditions which require early clinical intervention. Histopathology findings on a liver biopsy or a liver explant can help to identify the underlying etiology or provide an important direction for further clinical, laboratory and radio graphical investigation. Cryptogenic cirrhosis (CC) is defined as the cirrhosis of unknown etiology despite extensive clinical, laboratory and pathologic work-up, and constitutes  5-10%  approx  all cirrhosis cases. The global digital market of pathology  size is expected to reach USD 1.67 billion by 2026, it is anticipated to expand at a CAGR of 11.7% during the forecast period.
